They aren't playing tag. It's territorial feeding. Most animals don't play games like humans do. They don't have time or energy to invest in pointless leisure activities. Eat or be eaten.

I also video taped a long fight. One rearely gets to see these fights because they take place in outside spaces and it is usually over very quickly. Both of us lucked out by having a roof over the feeder.

Nice shot. This is more complex than flight of a space shuttle. Imagine the amount of equipment needed to convert energy stored in worms or bird seeds into mechanical energy, and the well controlled flight.
