Video duration: 189 seconds I was outside on my patio when I heard thump on my sliding glass door. Two little hummingbirds laid helpless on my patio tile. I went to pick up one of the birds and it flew away. The other bird looked injured and was laying flat on it's back. I picked up the bird and held it in the palm of my hands. Video duration: 192 seconds We went to the Coachella Valley Preserve that is located in Indio Hills, 10 miles east of Palm Springs. It's the home of the Thousand Palm Oasis that is fed by water seeping out of the San Andreas Fault. It's also the home of the fringe-toed lizard, found nowhere else in the world. I am truly jealous. I have been loving hummingbirds for year's. I collect them and feed them and I have one that got hit by a car on a figurine. This is the first year in year's that I only saw one hummingbird on my feeder all year. My friend's don't have any either. Very beautiful video. Gosh, how awesome..

I too have seen both parts and they're both wonderful. I like the choice of music for both parts. You are very fortunate to have a hummingbird nest in your yard to watch and record on video. From looking at this video, the mother built the nest close to a good source of food. Thanks again for sharing this wonderful video.

Hi, I just wanted to tell you that that is beautiful. I saw one hummingbird in my backyard about two months ago and put in a feeder. As of this morning I have eight of them. I guess they are telling their friends.
