As a travel agent can i please correct some of the comments made here.....Sunwing Vacations is Stail part of Red Seal Vacations, Sunwing is their FIt portion. Redselas is Not a travel agency rather a Travel provider who sells to agencies which in turn sell to you. Not all of Sunwings Aircraft are new, i think 2 were purchased from Air France. Also this provided there are seats? They dont sell off what let to take air only passengers? They sell air direct including domestic service.

I worked for Jetsgone, Skyservice and now work for sunwing as an AME. This airline is good and I believe that they will be around for quite some time. Skyservice depend on outside tour groups to fill their seats, we fill our own and it seems to be working so far. From an engineer's perspective, these aircraft are very good and they offer great ride comfort.

Actually they should last! Sunwing isn't a scheduled service airline like Air Canada or Jetsgo was. It's a charter airline specializing in vacation packages. (Like Skyservice & Air Transat, you can however book seats without a vacation package providing there are seats)They've actually been around for many years as travel agency known as RedSeal Vacations. They decided to remove the airline middleman, bought brand new Boeing 738s and began Sunwing Vacations the parent company of Sunwing Airlines
