It was a nice little blessing to get so close to a little hummingbird for a few minutes, he was like holding a living jewel. This little guy was very easy he recovered in about 15min. I have taken care of other kinds of baby birds also for about 2 weeks before they could make it on their own. There is just something so special about releasing a bird back to the wild.

eluhfuntalicious, I was not trying to impress anyone with this video. Thank God it all worked out ok. I only yanked on the kid when she was in a contraction. The 4H goat leaders almost never call a vet for birthing goats. I was really worried that the boy was going to die if I didn't get him out. We got him out and now he is being trained to pull a cart. I still don't know what I'm doing, but it's all working out.

you guys didn't really know what the heck you were doing and you shouldn've gone in there the moment you noticed she was having troubles. you should've called a vet as well. that was a pretty difficult birth for a baby you're lucky is survived especially the way you two were yanking on it. i'm not impressed.

Rolando we still have Tulip and two of her kids. They are registared 4-H dairy goats and we sold one of the little girls to a really nice woman that wanted to have a goat since she was a kid (like myself) The other little girl will be showing at fair again this year. The boy, we had fixed and our plan is to teach him how to pull a cart. If you fix the males they don't stink and they are very sweet.

I have never raized a bull frog from a tadpole. I have raised other little frogs, but I have always let them go, because I didn't know how to feed them after they came out of the water. I bet you could get alot of information at a pet store. You can hold an adult bull frog, but you don't want their skin to get dry.

Maybe I will try to raise crickets, I was also thinking of getting my frog wax worms or meal worms they can also eat those, I like crickets too much, it is hard for me to feed them to my frog!I do have a 20 gallon tank hopefully when I get a bullfrog he'll have enough room if not I'll get him a bigger tank. I'm always happy to help another animal lover. I think it was a 20 gallon tank, and I used a deep dog dish for his water. I raised my crickets in a 5 gallon tank with potting soil. I was worried that the crickets were over crowded but they seem to like to bunch up and hang out. I was feeding my crickets oranges and gold fish flakes. Crickets are fun to watch.

Thank you so much for your advise,right now I have a whites tree frog he sleeps during the day stays up at night till early morning then starts croaking loud 4:30 am, I feed him crickets, I noticed it is hard to keep the crickets alive in a plastic habitat for crickets I put water and a piece of apple or potato in the cage, like you I love the sounds of crickets and felt guilty I have to feed them to the frog.

I was told that the big problem with having a Bull Frog would be that they croak at night, but Mel never did. I really liked the sounds of the crickets, I think that the croaking would have been nice to hear too. Since Mel was a wild frog, I just had to make sure that it was not a hibarnation time for him when I set him free again.

One thing I didn't think about before we decided to take him in, was just how much he would eat. Crickets start adding up. So we thought that we would raise our own crickets, that was kind of interesting to do. Crickets need to have a light on them to have babies, and to grow big. You have to raise them in a differant tank. But BullFrogs should not have a light. (at least where I live it doesn't get that cold)

I cleaned his tank once a week. I put grassy dirt in the tank that I dug up in the yard. When the grass and water got gross that's when I would clean it. He wouldn't jump around in the day, but at night the glass would be all smeary with his little hand prints because he was out hunting for crickets. I think he was happy enough as long as the water is deep enough for him to be fully submerged.

It is told in different voices, with music, and is the NIV translation. You're right about there being a limitation to domestic breeding, but the limitation is time, not variation. 3200 years or so would be enough to get different species in the true sense of the word, but millions of years is needed for huge changes. Ms Chicken, I am incredibly blessed I suppose, I have had evey last prayer since I was born answered and I have been looked after closely. very closely. I was handed the worse possible conditions possible for a baby and given the worst people on earth to raise me. I still was not alone and never even thought that god would abandon me, no one told me that could happen.
