My feeder seems to be pretty popular with the local hummers and I have to refill it every day. When I do, before I hang it up I will hold the feeder in my hands for a few minutes. A few of the bolder hummingbirds will drink while I'm holding it. I've even slipped my finger over one of the little plastic perches and gotten a hummer to perch on my finger instead. They are amazing creatures.

I wish people wouldn't use red colored water to feed their hummers. The dye can actually be harmful to the birds. Regular sugar water(1/4 part sugar to 1 part water is enough)

Nice video, but it is not needed to use colored water , in fact the dyes are considered to be potentionaly harmfull to hummers, why use it and take a chance when you will have just as many hummers without. it.

aww, how cute! mine look like those..but i dont have that many. and they are fiesty lil suckers too! they dive-bomb each other for the feeder when there's plenty of feeding stations on it. what funny little things ;-) thanks for sharing that

Deep in Brown County Indiana, there runs a Little known creek called Salt Creek.The Nurses having a sense of adventure, and not caring about the muddy creek water, the water snakes that often swim and crawl aboard
your canoe set out on a canoe trek unlike none other they had ever experienced. This video is a tribute to their bravery, and fortitude.
