I dunno about lolawoffle. I didn't find all that humorous, to be honest. Their type of humor was kinda lost on me. They didn't try hard enough in that dept. It was an OK movie, and I sat through it, but they could've tried a little harder. And actually, it's not personal. I'm a guy who's still a virgin at 21 with no gf and very introverted. So I wouldn't know from experience, but I do love politics and thinking about issues and controversies.

Of course the actors make the movie. That's why I thought it was a terrible choice of actors. I mean, I don't want some generic Hollywood couple getting pregnant, but it'd be nice if they had actors that could actually act, instead of being a bunch of immature dorks in HS. The girl's character was very naive, immature, young, a little too naive for me. The bf's actor is always this awkward kid who's got like nothing on his mind and has trouble having a real conversation with people.

Lastly, how the fuck did they decide to put those 2 dorks as the main characters? One of them is some unknown girl actress I've never seen in any previous movies, and the other is that idiot who always plays real dorky and annoying characters, like in Superbad. He's all shy and afraid to make a move and is just a terrible actor. Now he's got yet ANOTHER movie deal in Hollywood.

It sends a bad message, like that if you're a teenage mother who got an unintended pregnancy cuz u fucked w/o protection, it's as simple as pie to get it adopted, and you can totally leave the father out of the equation, while you bear all the burden of carrying the child. The father can just be blissfully ignorant, for the time being. It also can send a message that the father's wishes don't matter at all, even if it is the woman's body.

And the decision to give up the child is so quick. After like 2 or 3 days of finding out she's pregnant, she finds the couple in the ad. It's just a very weird movie the way they actually made it. Even I could've done better job. And wtf is with the father of the child not even being present very often, esp. when talking about the fact that she's pregnant? He just gets to live this cozy-ass life completely forgetting it and staying with track and studies while she has 9 months of hell.

I mean, she fucking gets pregnant, but instead of keeping the child and going through with it, she decides to give it up for adoption to some random couple they found out about in some ad. It's like "Ook..." At least they could've had Juno have the child and THEN give it up for adoption at the hospital. The movie would've been a little more interesting if she did that or actually kept the child and raised it with her family's help. I'm not pro-life or anything, but I'd enjoy it a little more.

This movie was kinda overrated. It's not nearly as 'magical' as the trailer portrays. It's just a simple movie about a stupid girl who fucks her loser bf, gets pregnant, and then her father lets her have the kid, and she gives it to this couple that's infertile. The husband, at one point, decides "I can't have a kid yet" b/c he loves writing songs or jingles for commercials and shit, and then eventually they get back together. I'd have enjoyed it more if Juno didn't take the easy way out.
