I can't see the visor being very helpful... it seems like it blocks more from view than just having one whole plate for vision. I think this must be old, because last I heard he had some special type of material as the armor that could withstand grenades, roadside bombs, and bullets easily. It may be this same material, but I can't remember offhand.

You mean Unbeatable Banzuke? I agree, that show does have some pretty challenging courses, but Ninja Warrior tests alot of different skills in one course. Like, you need more than one skill to get through...balance upper body strength, agility, and stuff...But in Unbeatable Banzuke, you only need to master the skill required for a specific course.
