I loved Discovery because so many of my favourite artists are sampled on it (Eddie Johns, Barry Manilow, ELO, etc) and sampled very well. This is probably the reason why my personal favourite track from Homework is High Fidelity (I love Billy Joel, too)! I have a love/hate with teachers - it's a good idea, but doesn't work too well as a song. Still interesting though.

Discovery is my favorite too. That album really makes me feel good. However, I finally listened to every song on Homework all the way through last week, and liked it a lot more than I did the first time around. Only song I have a problem with is Teachers. Has a good part to it, but most of the song does not work for me. Oh, and Indo Silver Club is amazing. Phoenix is another great one off of this album. Good stuff.

I'm more commercial in that Discovery is my favourite. But Homework will always have that special spot in my heart that Discovery can never have... the record that inspired me to do my own house music mixing and sampling. There is not one single bad track on the entire album; try doing that today!

Great!! Note Horace's quotes from "Peer Gynt" and "Peter and the Wolf"! Junior Cook is not playing off key as someone mistakenly said earlier. And puffing your cheeks is not wrong when the pros do it, either to get various tonal colors or for reasons of physiognomy (Dizzy, Zoot, Mulligan, etc., even some symphony players).
