Well, since I haven't been able to read the details of this video. I remember seeing it "Live" and knowing full well that Barbra still suffered from stage fright. I'm sure most people who've performed on stage (me, being one of them) could tell right away that she was [almost] hyperventilating as Neil was trying to keep her attention away from the audience. Yeah, I agree with DjimiPaij. I think she's just proud of what she and her band/producers were able to do with this record. I'd feel pretty damn proud and accomplished myself if I had even half the talent Kathleen has. And ditto about the Dylan/Young comparisons; I think her songwriting abilities are very similar to theirs at this still young-age of her career, so it seems fair to me to compare her to them in that sense. I only hope she sticks around nearly as long as they have.

I really like KE, but please ...it's WAY too early in her career to be drawing comparisons to such ultimate pop culture icons. And just the way she praised herself ... how great her writing and songs turned out on this album ... it just turned me off ... too much like marketing.

This song is so beautifully sad, brings a tear to my eye, especially to see Mr. Seeger. I was introduced to this song in grade 3 when I had to sing it at a Remembrance day assembly over 20 years ago and I don't think there is another song that touches me more to this day. As for the people criticizing Mr. Seeger and his performance here...you are pathetic and obviously cannot get past that to appreciate the meaning of this song and how it speaks to the human spirit.
