Well, I do think that they would've been okay without him, but he really forced them to mature and be brave as a band. He was an AMAZING influence on them, and I don't think the end-product could have been any better. I think I was beginning to get bored with CP (not that I didn't love them), so I was glad to hear some edgy stuff and see them be a little "out there" and step up as musicians. They never disappoint.

Just because the two songs have similar note patterns in the verse does not mean one's a pure copy of the other. And actually, yes you can fit Radiohead into a genre, it's called alternative rock. Go look it up. Yes they incorporate electronic rock but that's still rock. Muse is also alternative, with electronica AND classical music which is something Radiohead doesn't do. Listen, I'm not saying Muse is better or more creative in general, but you can't just label them as a copy band.

I agree with you. With most music (even good music) I eventually find myself bored. Coldplay is the only exception. Some weeks I've listened to two Coldplay albums a day. Your also right about how thought provoking their music is.

Actually the granny is real, they took the footage off a tv series made in the 80s. It was called 'changing attitudes in america' or something....obviously the band aren't actually 'there'. And the old woman died recently aswell. Um, guys, no ... to him, it may mean something different than it does to you. That is why there are lyrics in songs: for you to interpret them. So do not say that a song has one meaning; it really pisses me off. Nobody is wrong when they state their opinion about something. Plus, take any song about a girl and you can almost instantly connect it with Jesus - so don't be too quick to judge, Killswitch.
