Actually, in regards to the Polo video. Polo Azteca was a team I was apart of. Argentina is where some of the best Polo is, and in the video, In this first few seconds, you see a large white appy/thoroughbred cross named Fayo. His rider is from Argentina; Enqique Diaz. We hired him from California to help train some of our 'beasts'. :P Again; at 17 seconds, you can see that he was one of the winners of the tournament. He rides various horses throughout the clip. :D

To play professionally, yes, you need many many ponies and the grounds and stables and the like, but I started playing at university and it has turned out to be one of the least pretentious sports I've ever been involved with. Nope, if you can walk, know your left from your right (a bit anyway), and hold frame (sometimes called giving weight--but mostly to not have loose or spaghetti arms)....then you can do it.
