yeah, perfect articulation is kind of a downer. so many professional a cappella groups sound so overproduced and electronic. being "clean" isn't worth the loss in flow and pace, like in this version. way too intentional, everything. robots could do this. hip-hop loving, competitive a cappella singing robots. not a radiohead-referencing compliment about capturing alienated feeling. just yucky and emotionally deadish. i know i could try harder. but. do radiohead because you feel not cause popular.

Long time since this reply, but i'll tell you something: I've been to one one of the Rock4 concerts again, last october. It was in a theatre which was about to be broken down. As a tribute to the theatre, the guys sang their version of "Halleluja" all acoustic, because it was the first song they had even performed there. I can assure you: it was breath-taking.
