tbh the problem is modern rock and rap are addictive and catchy and i wont deny i hate rap and i do like modern rock music but the real rock music is bands like led zep and iron maiden whereas in the 80's when rap culture began the music was pretty good but now its the same repetitive crap with mostly black men talking about how they fucked the 'white hoes'

Yeah, and there isn't totally an odd coincidence between mainstream rap and today's mainstream rock that consist of the same dull pseudo-intellectual "deep" lyrics usually being screamed out incoherently with the same shitty 2-3 riffs playing in the background while white kids who live in the suburbs use their hair to cover their face and complain about how much life sucks on myspace. No matter how you slice it, today's rock, mainstream or not, isn't any better. Also moshing is for faggots.
