I seriously hate hip hop and rap today. But I liked it with this song and it was a neat concept to mix metal with rap... Yeeeeaaaaaaaaa boiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!
By: 123JoeD456. on 18 Nov 08, 22:41:14
You must not know what real gangsta rap is then. But no public enemy is not gangsta rap.
By: sentimientodeltiempo. on 18 Nov 08, 19:40:32
I'm sorry boy, but Public enemy is not gangsta rap (music by little boys who grown with Nintendo).
By: Zeld4Freak55. on 17 Nov 08, 21:13:41

Sasfoot is right! Onyx, NWA and Public Enemy were the group! Gangsta Rap music is the best we have ever heard ...
By: Sasfoot. on 17 Nov 08, 05:44:04
This remake came about because Scott Ian was a huge Public Enemy fan. Anthrax was one of the first metal bands to embrace rap as a form of music that had aggression and anger in it. Think about other rap crossovers that kicked ass, Onyx and Biohazard's remake of Slam being a prime example. Yes, most of the shit today that's called rap & hip hop sucks. However, gangsta and most rap from the late 80's & early 90's was fuckin' great.

By: XV100. on 16 Nov 08, 19:23:45
okay thats kool that you like different type of music. I just believe that rap is not to be mixed with metal.
By: NullJaeger. on 16 Nov 08, 19:19:26
lol Do you think I give a fuck about what MTV calls anything? What you are telling me bares little to no relevance to this argument. I'm just saying I listen to more than one genre of music. Ill Bill and Necro are two prime examples of great rappers who mix their sound with thrash metal.
By: XV100. on 16 Nov 08, 19:13:49
okay well at least u listen to real metal.BUT point is u dont mix rap and metal. Devoted Metal fans will never accept it Period. U can cry and call me a narrow minded fuck but never will nu-metal or rap metal be accepted as metal.. remember one thing jus cuz MTV calls it "metal" it doesn't mean it is.
By: NullJaeger. on 16 Nov 08, 19:07:09
I don't think so. I listen to Kreator, Slayer, Megadeth, Exodus and others when it comes to thrash metal. But I listen to everything pretty much, cause I'm not a narrow minded fuck like you obviously.
By: XV100. on 16 Nov 08, 18:46:11
U FUCKIN COCKSUCKER RAP IS THE MOST TALENTLESS SHIT.. i bet ur some fuckin mallcore shithead who thinks hes metal because u listen to shit like limp bizkit and other MTV made sellout bands.. DUMBSHIT KILL YOURSELF AND STIK YOUR DICK IN A BLENDER
By: Blumboy. on 16 Nov 08, 18:44:13
i think so
By: NullJaeger. on 16 Nov 08, 18:27:37
Fucking dumbass. This song is a prime example of why you fucking should mix metal with rap far more often, as long as it's with talented bands. And i'm not talking about shite like Linkin Park either.
By: Radstar67. on 16 Nov 08, 11:11:48
Yep - he certainly is!
By: girfan87. on 16 Nov 08, 06:24:03
I've read quite a bit about System of a Down, them being my favorite band, so I know that they call themselfs metal. Not nu-metal or alternative metal. Serj himself has stated his disdain for being labled as alt-metal. "The alternative to what?"
By: DioandMaiden. on 16 Nov 08, 01:57:36
ya i know their thrash someone said now this is nu metal..

there isn't enmity in music, its art not a war..
By: GUITARMASTER0117. on 15 Nov 08, 03:45:30
Lol System doesn't rap at all... Linkin Park and Rage Against the Machine are actual examples of Nu-Metal along with this. But not System of a Down.
By: libertheme66. on 15 Nov 08, 02:06:42
IS scott ian really rapping tell me
By: Zeld4Freak55. on 15 Nov 08, 01:50:52
it's called Nu-Metal. System of a Down? KoRn? those are prime examples
