Not that hard, if you have 150 hp and a few bombs he is easy. Just use all of your bombs first and then attack you. When he has 0 hp he does a massive attack, but you need to quickly press A to finish the battle before you get down to zero hp.

It's not always the defense or the HP of the character that's adjusted. A lot of times, I usually notice that the attack is often lowered to give characters like (a general) Kung Fu Man a chance against Popeye. But, (I'm almost certain you know that) you can easily change that aspect by going to the character's cns file. And, if you don't see that, you can try to look for a "st." file, or a constant.cns file that has the general stats of the character, such as attack, defense, etc.

so... you're actually trying to prove that in super metroid they actully counted on turbo boost while morphed. I mean, activating turbo boost, jumping, then morphing ball at the exact moment/pixel so that the game's engine doesn't notice you did it was something they actually wanted in the game. (I'm not talking about those things you morph ball onto and it throws you that exist in Zero Mission)

Wow you know nothing about metroid do you? Most items you get in the game, must be gotten by boosting in morph ball form, thats not a glitch they did that on purpose. They also did the getting to areas early on purpose. The wall jump is evidence of that, it lets you get to a lot of areas early. By gliches I mean turbo boost while morphed, etc. And by badly designed I mean not throughly checked, like, being able to get somewhere the game's plot doesn't want you by freezing enemies you weren't supposed to be able to, etc. both of which are normal on a huge game, designed with limited resources. You can get to the second vertical Brinstar passage by shooting the overhang of the roof over the door leading right...As for without the Varia, you can go backwards through the "escape route" that normally leads FROM Ridley.
