It's worth noting that the equation for angular momentum is J=vmr where J is angular momentum, v is tangential velocity, m is mass and r is radius. In the case of an orbiting object, the equation can be arranged as v=J/mr where J and m are constants and v and r are variables. If you calculate J for Earth orbiting the Sun using the semi-major axis then punch in the aphelion and perihelion apsis, you'll see how v (tangential velocity) changes and the effects on centripetal acceleration.

This spiraling into the Sun from dissipative forces (those things that remove energy from Earth's orbit) is so minor it would take on the order of 10 billion years to spiral into the Sun. As the Earth moves away from the Sun, its tangential velocity begins to drop (due to conservation of angular momentum) which means it's centripetal acceleration drops also and it's now overcome by the Suns gravity and begins to fall back towards the Sun where the process begins again, hence a relatively stable, very slightly elliptical, orbit. I'm not quite sure what you're asking in your second question but I would suggest you take a look at Schwarzschild metric.

I don't think some of the animations shown in the vid. are intended to represent the curvature of space-time. There really shouldn't be a black hole created, they're just smashing protons together to see what they're made of. The idea that maybe a tiny black hole would be created and then evaporate instantly or other stuff is just a 'this might happen/be neat' thing; not 'lol world gonna end'. I guess the micro black holes, if created (I highly doubt they would be), would be caused by interactions among whatever pieces result from the proton collisions doing what could best be described as 'weird stuff'

IMO 3) Dark energy is like a massive version of centripetal force & acceleration. The gravity well existed long enough after the big bang to cause minor rotation. Over time this grew. it's like liquid in a cup that was stirred, but then the cup vanished. Now it is expanding due to the acceleration and central pulling force. I think it would be nice if someone else had the idea that there is a way that God and science can coexist in the universe. Tokamak cant be tested/implimented on a small scale.Why because the expansion of the plasma during fusion means that the size of the reactor will always have to be large to allow acceptable clearance so the sides of the reaction chamber wont ment down.This is the exactly why Tokamak cant work.Allowing room for expansion reduces plasma density limiting atomic collisions that cause fusion.Spherical confinement means that near 50%of expansion is directed inward increasing pressure and collisions.

ChrisPCrunchy should not be misunderstood. He talks about the underfunded polywell fusion research project which has shown great promise toward a very simple and cheap and working fusion technology. The US Navy stopped funding it, because it would compete with other navy funded fusion projects that are not going very well. This problem was solved in 2007. Polywell fusion has received more funding, and is on a fast track to go way beyond what ITER fusion will ever provide in just a few years.

Viable means of producing power with fusion are being ignored and nearly ALL research funds are being plowed into a system that cannot ever work. Tokamak reactors, despite having decades of research and billions of dollars spent have never delivered 1 watt of power and never will. All known fusion reactors (stars) are spherical, none are doughnut shaped (Toroidal).
