Pro Tools is the software I use... it's where I do most of my recording and mixing. The only other software I use much is Reason Adapted (which came with pro tools) which you can integrate into pro tools. My mic is an AKG perception condenser mic (200$ retail). I use a digidesign Mbox 2 Pro as my analog to digital interface (i.e. it's what I plug my guitar and mic into). Hope this gives you a better idea... :D

thanks so much... i love doing covers because it gives you an oppurtunity to add your own style in a way. i never really consider any cover "better" because, after all, it is a cover. Sarah wrote a great song here and it was a lot of fun singing it and doing a few harmonies... i'm glad you enjoyed it :D

I really like your arrangment and the layers and depth you added to the song. Of course, Sarah's simple version is still my favorite, but that doesn't change how I enjoyed yours. What I really liked were some of the harmonies in there. Gave it a really quality. I'm always amazed at how someone can make another song, in a way, there own. I've never been able to really do that. Good job.
