Back then the Romanians were living in 3 states : Transilvania, Wallachia and Moldova. Transilvania was an autonomus state, but under the Hungarian Kingdom. The Hungarians also wanted to put their foot in Wallachia(were Vlad was the ruler), so they used the religion in their advantage.

It`s a long story about how Vlad Tepes died. Some say that he died in battle, some say that he was killed by an payed assasin. Anyway, the story is more complex. Romania like Greece is an Orthodox country, an so was Vlad. That was one of the reasons he died. Vatican was afraid of an Orthodox rising against the Turks becasue he might had liberated Constantinopolis, and the interest of the Catholic Church back then was to dominate Europe.

...)i'm not talking about Hungaryans but about both countrys. For a simple exemple i didn't have not even one problem for the 2 week i have visited Hungary but after i return in my country in Tg. Mures a cashier from a store pretended that she did'nt understand me in romanian and asking to talk in Hungaryan, this was very sad for me cause is no way you can translate Milka (chocolate) in Hungaryan. So my point is don't listen what this fucks are saying cause listening to them i should be dead...(
