These are the four winds of heaven coming out after presenting themselves to the Lord of all the earth. The one with the black horses is going out to the region of the north the white ones have gone out to what is west of them the spotted ones have gone out to the region of the south and the dappled ones have gone out ... and they ranged the earth. That would leave the red horse (or bay, in this case) remaining in the east. Pretty evident to me that they went to all four corners of the earth.

Angelina, The word never says the red horse goes to the east. The NIV and NRSV are the only two translations I have found that show the white horse going east. I can not find anything about the direction of the white horse in either the Septuagint or the Tanahk and I trust the Septuagint since it is older. Richard has indicated that he has found the white horse going west in one of the Tanakh translations but you would have to ask him which version. Mine is from the late 1800's or 1917?

If the Bible states that the black go to the north, the dappled or pale go to the south and the angel on the red horse is in the east that only leaves white for the west! Hello the west is implied since the others are listed. All directions are from the point of Jerusalem, the center of the earth in Scripture. O.K.! Sorry, Christ was not "cut off" in the mid of 7 years. That would mean that He would have been "cut off" 3.5 years after he came as King in 32 AD. Plus the "he" of Daniel 9:27 is the leader who will come from the previous verse. Actually, if you read Revelation, it says that there is not a temple in Heaven (Rev. 21:21-22). Rev. 15:5 says testimony in heaven. Why would God need a temple in Heaven?! Temples are the closest place to Heaven on Earth. God does not need a physical temple but we do. We need temples here on earth for the same reasons that Christians in the Bible needed them. The color of the horses is another clue to their identities: White = White House; Red = Red China; Green/Dappled = color of Muslim flags; Black seems to be the only debatable one, though it usually signifies evil or death. I know there are no flags mentioned in scripture. I don't make things up. The word "standard" is used to mean a flag or a symbol/emblem of a tribe. See Numbers 2 where the 4 dominant tribes are mentioned and their directional relationship. Ephraim = west Judah = east Dan = north Reuben = south I feel very strongly now that these are related to the 4 horsemen.
