Indeed, Laurie was the voice of Ellen Aim (Diane Lane) and the band guys portrayed the band The Attackers in the movie. The group also had a song in Jumpin Jack Flash, called Window to the World. Also, to note other comments below, I found a V-66 website with memories of the Boston/Marlboro video station. Try searching V-66 Worcester in the search engine. I cannot post the Url here for some reason. I am headed to Boston this summer and am going to search out Lauries group, called Twinemen.

Thanks, actually found out that Little America is from LA and not Boston area. But I do remember them getting a lot of airplay on HJY, AAF, and other stations. They do have videos on here also. (speaking of radio stations, remember WCOZ? They competed against WAAF and obviously lost. But were still a good station.) Oh, I do remember Farenheit too..thanks for reminding me.

Yeah, I remember V66 too which played a lot of New England area bands as well as national. Great idea and much better than MTV. I think it was hosted by a couple of DJs from WAAF. Since you're from RI (I grew up in Warwick and now live in Atalnta) do you remember a bang call 'Little America'? Out of Boston area I think.

I've seen this movie countless times, and only just now I realized that what she takes off is not one of her gloves but her G-string! (although she's still wearing it in the next shot). Did you guys all miss that the blond is Melanie Griffith? I don't know where the "Frankie goes to Hollywood" comes from but this video is from "Body Double" and has a good twist at the end. She's part of it and he's investigating on his own cuz he developes a "thing" for the brunette he's been watching from his building, thru her window who gets murdered by her husband who sets him up knowing he's watching.

Contrary to the poster's description, this is NOT a "rare" version of the video for Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax." It is simply a 5 minute scene from the Brian DePalma film "Body Double" which uses the song as part of the soundtrack. You'll notice that the scene also contains copyrighted original soundtrack music as well--further proving the point. There is indeed a "movie version" of the "Relax" video, but this is definitely NOT it.
