Couldn't hear themselves playing. In their own words they were suffering in terms of performance. Lennon lost his connection with the audience and the music. Yes, Ringo contributed the titles of those songs but with two credits and two co-credits as a Beatle, he is nowhere in the same songwriting league as the other three...but I do agree with you that his brilliant drumming added another dimension to the band, and with George's guitar work, Paul's bass playing and John's dynamic vocals, the Beatles could kick ass even if they didn't have the songwiring skills.

Good voice. When we did this tune back in the 70's, It had a way on the crowd that seemed to touch most everyone. Well done. "I Never Cry" is a totally underrated because mainly it's a very male-oriented song. A lot of guys relate to this song, but most girls don't. That's fine... there's many examples of the opposite. Listen closely and you will get it... guys (even successful ones) can feel lonely too.
