though im certainly no Jules Olitski expert, i did get a chance to meet him a few years ago, at his Bear Island studio,about 6-7 months before he past away .This music gos very nicely w The pieces you showed that i reconize as his. Though, as you might guess, the two dimentional video just cant give you the vibrant colors (not to mention the color changes) as they present themselfs on the canvas. A very humble man. i was very glad to have the oppertunity to meet him and see his final 3 works.

me ha sorprendido mucho tanto el video como la musica segun iba avanzando, la idea del tiempo es muy importante y los fundidos la expresan muy bien,para mi en la construccion esta el sentido. el tema, pero me parece q hay un contraste muy grande entre lo visual y la musica, no sé, lo discutiré con mi amigo alberto!!! XD thank you!

hey man, nice video. it's an inspired idea. i really like your selection of artists to show during the piece although i wonder if one of the other artists has more in common w/ steve reich than lewitt. olitski's a great painter, and his disembodied color is an excellent visual representation of some of reich's harmonies. i think that the donald judd mutli-color box construction that you show near the end is a great place to pick up. in any event, i would love to see more of these videos.
