The people made this video. I love how they sang the melody. I had a back stage pass to this tour and was standing stage left watching Alex Lifeson and it really was one of my biggest thrills every. These guys are really true professionals. I walked all over the arena while they were playing and found the best sound just behind the mains. I could hear the monitor mix and the stage volume and the two together was awesome.

Great question! My interpretation of the lyric is that they're speaking to someone considering suicide. They're saying it is NOT "the act of a noble warrior who lost the will to fight." You may be walking on the razor's edge (ie. life can cut deeply at times), but giving up walking isn't the answer. And, if you read the gospel of John, Jesus knew what He was doing when he died on the cross; He laid down His life, no one took it from Him.
