Afew issues, the belt keeps riding up the pulley and bumping on the teeth, and the moter mount is really bouncy, which is probably causing the bumping but I will sort that out later... The potato flew about 15m and punched a hole straight through a half inch sheet of (dry, not mouldy) plywood. It seems pretty wimpy because the barrel is too big, so the tennis ball is quite a loose fit. When i get the new barrel, it will be much more impressive.
