I'm not any good but I think a pro would have harassed the group of lings more sitting outside your base and attacked at the moment of getting the upper hand. The 3 SCVs Weren't needed for base defense and you wouldn't see a pro sacrificing the SCV from smut working. Overall I think the main difference was your mechanical play where they do stuff a lot faster so i think you should work on that every game till you are a freak. You need more "playful" microing with you're army unitswhilebeingcalm

keep up non-stop scv pump,get stim as soon as academy finshes and hotkey ur units instead of just attack moving a spot on the map.its kinda hard to give u tips since the game was so short but ur oponent was really bad as well (gas be4 pool WTF?)

Hmm... Nice job. All you need to basically do is hotkey your units, and buildings. Command Center 1 Barrack 2 Barrack 3 And your 7 Rines, 2 Fbs, 2 meds. Hotkey them to 4, I suppose.

eh i admit terrans are tough to face on 128x128 maps with ramps as a zerg player. Lost temple is not a favorite of mine, but mutas always worked wonders for me in the midgame, keeping the terran on their toes, as i got the resources and tech for my late game destruction with cracklings & ultras or Guards..

Well, other than working on how you scout the early rush, nothing really you need to do. Even though you didn't catch his rush, you defended it nicely so nothing much to say.

It serves two purposes, and why pros do this as well. First, but not a purpose, it usually is distracting to see a flying building, and high hp early game makes it annoying to kill. One purpose is it's in the air. It's harder to trap and kill like an scv. Second thing is siege tanks shoot farther than can see, so, especially in TvT, that little more vision by the flying building allows the siege tank to shoot full length.

The math has been done: The carriers range is superior to that of BCs, and can shoot while moving. Yamato will kill 6 carriers, but they'll still never touch a carrier after that. Add an arbiter and have fun.

Lockdown is a classic means of putting battlecruisers to shame. Also, your use of Yamato was a bit wasteful. The battlecruisers do enough damage when focus-firing Command Centers... save the Yamato to kill HIS battlecruisers. You get much more bang for your buck. Plus, the Yamato Cannon only needs the cruiser to be in range at the time of casting... no matter how far the target unit goes, the blast is guaranteed to hit; even if the target is beyond the fog of war.

He's clearly occupied with the fear of losing his base to a near-full group of cruisers, so send your tanks to kill the goliaths! He really didn't have much between your bases enough to stop you, and massing units those tanks might have only taken you away from your micro for a second. Starcraft is not a game of massing one unit at a time... use a combination, especially when reinforcing such a powerful investment!

Later on, I'm not sure if teching Battlecruiser was ideal... I think mass Wraiths might have suited your needs better... they're mad effective against other Battlecruisers, plus there really weren't enough tanks in play to mandate using them. Honestly, wraiths are a better counter when both players are mainly attacking each other through drops.

Earlier in the game, I'm not sure if I'm reading the resources clearly, but it seems to me your first factory was very late (it should go down at 100 gas). You dealt with the rush quite nicely, but had your opponent took the opening to expand and increase their macro, you would have been in greater trouble. After an attack like that, you should focus on expanding yourself (beyond your natural) and seeing where your opponent might have gone during your sensory blackout.

no use hotkey all the time =D well im korean im not that good but i got used to hotkeys.. u should you first 1 cc 2 scv(scout) 4-7 rax or fac(you wont use it if its a long game) and later on 0 the main cc and 1-4 or 5 for armies well at least this is confortable for me =D i get an apm of 230 by using this =D

2 things: 1) Accidentally deleted one of your posts. Did not do it on purpose, was trying to press reply :P 2)Don't mind this replay too much as its from November 2006. When i got to my best (around Christmass 2007) i was averaging 140-150 with a few exceptional games where i managed to hit 170 (not bad for a white guy!). I managed to use all hotckeys usually having at least 2 for scanner, 1 for cc, 1-4 for barracks or factories and 1-3 groups for army (3-6 groups in late games).

The toss player used a build that's quite common against Terran, but he should've taken notice when you started a 2nd rax before even starting a refinery. I'm surprised he got a shuttle before any goons. As for you, if you're worried about zeal attacks, build your front wall in a way that only allows entry and exit if you lift a rax.

Dude, you're good. Better than me. see, I freak out whenever i get harassed by the opponent and my macro tends to get worse. My micro is well, ok. But anyway, you did good. I liked your blocking on the zerg's base ramp with the medics. That was pretty good. Anything else to improve is well you have to rally your rines from barracks onto your ramp. Not on the choke. No need to cut off the choke point if you're going Marine/Medic. Just get rax up as fast as possible and get marines, meds, and stims. They'll hold you for a while until you decide to tech. The key is to survive the first ten minutes and make sure at least of your opponents doesn't.

Hey, h033es! To begin, I think you could improve greatly simply by using hotkeys. You can hotkey a screen location by using Shift + F2 to F8. Also, you can hotkey units and buildings by using Ctrl + 1 - 0. In addition, a single bunker behind the depot and 'rax would have saved you this game. One last thing.. The SCV/Marine rush against Zerg is a classic move. Zerg likes to expand or tech fast, leaving themselves vulnerable early game, so take advantage of it if you can:)

i play low money almost always, (i play random blizzmaps when i host big ffa's and they're so much fun), this was a long while ago, back when in depth strategies were a mystery to me and was fidgeting around with camtasia. It doesn't matter at this point, but this was standard hunters. I avoid maps like gayest money ever and bgh.

im not much of a pro, but some of the mistakes are kinda obvious. 1. blocking the front door does not mean simply putting a rak and a Supply depot, you actually have to make it so small units (lings) have a hard time getting in and large units cant get in at all, put a SCV between the two, or put a bunker behind the supply depot. 2. YOU ARENT TECHING! WHY ARENT U TECHING! If u had tanks with siege or at least medics, ur marines would've lived, and u wouldnt have gged

now you are doing pretty good at this game. By the way you can label locations by using shift and buttons f2-f4 so then you can use this to visit the center of a certain location you looked at a while ago. You plan ahead quite wisely and make sure that you set the rally point to the area you want the scv to go rather than make him go to a certain location himself. GG

Very nice, i miss mini 4wd so bad we used to have a huge following in washington state. them the hobby stores started to get diffrent products, and they started to switch to slot cars cause they would make more money off them(but they never got as many people (or as many family's together) for slot cars as TM4D) i want a new place to start it again.

Italy has its own national championship 'sponsored' by tamiya (they just hand out prizes, they don't help much with the organization). Japan has a very fun champinoship as well, i don't know if its national. But has really fast cars powered simply by atomic tuned motors. I will look up china, and i konw they have great 3 wheel races, and singapore and philipines are vey involved as well.

LOL, I agree, fully agree, mini 4wd is not a kids toy, but unfortunatelly, a lot of "big guy" still thinking like that, and here in Indonesia there is some store, that make some small race. And if you have some times you can search for Auldey China Championship, it's good actually (but the rule is not as strict as Tamiya, they allowed you to used a modified motor, modified cap, and if I'm not wrong, they even allowed the contestant to used Auldey rechargeable battery)

Exactly what does a Ball Bearing transmission entail? I only know that you can put Ball Bearings on the chassis areas that make contact with the drive shaft. Did you put them on the Prop shaft too?? That's awesome if you did. I also hope that the Mini 4WDs catch on again. I've got about 5 cars that I'm just itching to buy hop ups for and race with.

If you REALLY want one, buy one of those Tamiya electric handy drills, believe it or not, it comes with a Jet Dash motor o.O I know coz yea.. I bought one of those drills and the minute I saw "Jet Dash" on the motor while assembling the drill, I just had to swap it out. :D

the one thing preferable about the atomic tuned in comparison to the jet dash and ultra dash is that you can use that motor for MANY races, months and months of use, and still get a decent speed out of it (however, the fastest japanese atomic tuned users only use the motor for a single race and then discard it). A jet dash is only good for a couple weeks of racing, and much MUCH harder to find because its an out of production motor.

yeah, but these are atomic tuned motors...they are like half the power of a jet (which is considerably the best tamiya motor). These guys may seem quick, but to be honest they wouldn't know how to handle a lane-change bridge (its covered)...ESPECIALLY if you put in a Jet Dash. There's some vids here on youtube from Italy where they can manage it though.
