the original song is by Mila Mason and so much better, but since it was her only hit back in the 80's it was pretty much forgotten. and tho this is very good, Mila's rendition was so much better. but I've loved this song since it came out way back then. Elton John heard this song years ago and said how much he liked it on the Rosie O'Donnell show. When Amanda's mother heard this she was beyond ecstatic and called Amanda right away. Her mother was so excited that Amanda couldn't tell what she was talking about. Rosie had Amanda perfrom it on her show soon afterwards. That's one of the happiest true stories I can think of.

I was blessed by having the chance to see her live in Munich. This Girl is plain fantastic! An incredible voice that nothing compares with. One song is better than the other.I just couldn't tell what's my favorite song of hers. Let's all hope that there will be more of this little great Lady soon. Umm not sure what you folks are talking about?? - Amanda Marshall is a huge recording artist and very popular - she is signed with Sony Music and to the person who thinks she should sing a duet with Shakira HAHAHA (sorry but I think that's funny) - you wouldn't be able to hear Shakira's voice next to Amanda's - she'd literally blow her away. I've seen her in concert sing without a microphone and you could literally hear her outside of the stadium.

I saw Amanda Marshall in January-in Vancouver. She just returned to doing concerts after a few years off. She didn't really seem to be to articulate the reason for her absence. Maybe the winds in the music business shifted at that time. Despite what everybody thinks here Amanda Marshall is a very successful artist. She has sold millions of albums along the way. I saw Amanda Marshall in concert last week (January 18, 2008) in Coquitlam, B.C. Canada (near Vancouver). Her voice was excellent as usual. There was lots of interaction with the audience. She also told some very funny stories. She dedicated "I believe in you" to Biff Naked, a Canadian westcoast artist who is fighting breast cancer.

I saw her perform in Vancouver about three weeks ago. She was very apologetic about being off the radar,but it was quite clear she had not lost her touch. It was a terrific performance, I had a front row seat .One thing that I did notice about her is that she doesn't make a lot of eye contact with her audience. I think that she is probably a very shy person and is not comfortable with the adulation.Who can blame her with all the shit they drag people through in the media.

After her third release her record company dropped her and why she hasn't had another record company sign her IS THE BIGGEST MYSTERY EVER. She does acouple of gigs a year, but with all this talent she has pretty much fallen off the face of the earth. It's sad and the only answer is may be she likes it like it is. Yes, Amanda is great. I have seen her performing in 1997 in Nuremberg. Great. She also performed in Munich "Live aus dem Schlachthof" in February 1997. It is one of the best live perfomances ever been filmed. She has is all: Power, an amazing voice, she is very beautiful and a good band to perfom with. Unfortunably she disappeared. Amanda what has become of you??
