Vancouver is pretty much Seattle, but in Canada, from a weather point of view. I love both sunny and rainy days. I grew up in southern Switzerland, where it can get to 30C in summer, and -10C in winter. I guess it all comes down to getting used to it. You can't ask a Southern Californian what he/she thinks of Seattle weather, you already know the answer, and same goes the other way around.

Your arguement lacks any rational cohension. Attacking my character (on grounds you can't prove) is not an arguement against my views. And just to clarify, I don't have a problem with woman being the statisically larger group, because when I talk of minorities I speak in ethnic terms. I think the most ironic thing is that education has led me to my views, which is the exact opposite of what you imply. No we aren't part of the same species, you are a lower life form.

supply and demand! obviously everybody wants to live in vancouver for various reasons. rule of thumb is if you cant afford it, dont buy it. nobody is putting a gun on anyones head to live in Vancouver. the place is expensive because the city dont have enough space for everybody. and if you really insist on living in vancouver, then pay the price! or get the hell out of vancouver!

I'm not saying everyone down there has the same view point but for those who have struggled as a minority to society in Alberta, there is great relief knowing that they have a place like Vancouver to seek refuge away from those who dislike certain lifestyle choices. Vancouver is rich in culture so if one doesn't like diversity, then it probably isn't the best place for someone who "dislikes" gays.

I've seen these types of people with my own eyes, the types who make it difficult for others to be who they are. I think Alberta is a great province don't get me wrong, but the majority of those who locate themselves in Southern Alberta, i.e. Lethbridge, would consider themselves quite conservative.

Actually it doesn't make me feel better. Just the other day, two young men were walking down Davie street holding hands and one of them was severely beaten by a homophobe and had to have his jaw wired shut for six weeks, so I really have a hard time justifying why people like you exhist on this earth. There are pleanty of dying babies in Africa that need attention. Or, maybe you should find a hobby or something. You are a disgusting example of ignorance.
