I did finally hear the album version of Carpetbaggers, and I still think it would be better without Costello whether Jenny is a fan or not. His voice does not lend well to the song. Sorry.

Watching this video once again it reminds me of seeing her sing it here in Bristol UK. At the time an American girl named Melissa was living here and I recall she used to really love this song and shake her head and move about to it. This has to be my fave Dar song and I have been lucky enough to see her here in Bristol several times and of course she always does this song,though once when I saw her at St.Bonaventures (venue) she wasn't going to sing it but I called out for her to do it when she asked for requests and she kindly did it for me/us.
