I believe that's all you need.. Because the microphone just plugs into the back of the antares, andddd the antares plugs into the amp I think..

I got very sick of the ah shux talking , it really sucked until 3:30 or so and sucked after that but still , you got a good sound !!! But it seems you could do more than just that song. why not show us a demostration rather than a sub-par version of a Craptastic classic we've heard and know and are tired of , what other kinds of sounds can you make with that ?

Is there any other like synth effect on that or is all that type of sound comming from the voice correction? Is it just the unit and an amp you have the mic hooked up to? I have been looking for this sound for over a year! finally found it!

Thanks for you response, daddy. The only trouble I'm having now is figuring out how to properly hook up my AVP-1 to get the best possible sound quality. Right now I have my mic going into a compressor, and lining that out to the AVP-1, and lining that out to a direct box, and sending the XLR out of the direct box into my mixing board. The sound quality isn't very great. Are you sending your mic directly into the AVP-1 with an XLR to 1/4 inch adapter in this video? Should I try the midi?

I set a custom scale similar to a transposed synthesizer at a -2 semitone setting (which is what the song is based on) and as always, the speed is at 0. I have various custom scales in addition. I mentioned the chromatic scale because many beginners to the module have a hard time getting started with the effect. The chromatic scale is a great place to start but won't give you the full effect. I am an advanced user to this module (as I am with all of my equipment) so I have my own settings.

Is that the only settings that you have on, daddy? Pitch correction at zero and the chromatic scale? You didn't select a specific scale? Cuz i do not sound like you. Do you have mic modeling on too?

this is nicely done. i think another good demo would be "Too Much of Heaven." I like to use FL Studio with Antares it helps because Fl Studio has reverb delay phasers and all kinds of good effects.

Hi do you have MSN messanger or myspace better yet? i need some infos bout the antares avp and u seem to be an expert!! i dont check my youtube messages on the regular thats why myspace would be better. i want the CHER EFFECT (lol what else) kind alike u got in the video. what exact settings do you have because for sum reason i cant get it done!!! i have the AVP hooked on my Tascam 2488MK multitracker as an effect send.
