Star Wars, Raiders, Jaws, Robocop, Superman? Those were unforgettable themes. The closest theme in recent memory that held any weight was BB and TDK.

I remember recording this anime during Christmas Eve, haha :D It really is great, I've watched it many times. There's everything you need: A great story combined with well-designed characters, awesome soundtracks, and: Wolves! This track in particular is so many things in one, if you ask me. It is sad, yet happy. It is calm, yet making you want to go on an adventure! Hmm, this version (or at least the recording) doesn't sound as good as the Passion version (Passion was a small ensemble concert by Eminence with the same lead violinist). And the Passion one actually sounded closer to the original despite having much fewer musicians and instruments.

Hard to comment on sound levels of a recording of a concert w.out recognizing that it is a recording of a concert and not the actual listening experience. Now we could sit here and pass judgment on the sound engineers of the recording, but we can't say for sure that the guitarist should turn and amp down (even if he does sound a bit over the top) or the flautist's sound level because whose to say the microphones weren't calibrated right. Overall, this performance/what they do is amazing.

They are amazing. I had the pleasure to work for the eminence crew a number of times for their concerts in Melbourne, and was blown away by the skill of the artists and their dedication. I can personally vouch how amazing they are - and I live in the USA. They were kind enough to send their Quintet to Otakon... anime/videogames meets anime/videogames. A perfect match that was one of the highlights of my life! Especially hearing Super Mario World... that was my first videogame sixteen years ago. Mr. Sakimoto had some good comments here, too - his presence at the concert sure didn't hurt the capacity crowd (or the fact that they gave autographs and sold CDs afterwards).
