Now I see we have both shown the advantages of both of our chosen OS and computer. Anything else we say is then just our opinion. To try to continue this is pointless. We are probably, if not obviously, both stubborn when it comes to our stances of things. We will not persuade each other to come to the other side so to speak. So I say let's just enjoy both of our platforms and get on with life. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, fact. Anything else is opinion.

I also said only idiots are infected by malware on windows. So I don't think just mac users are idiots, windows users are. And when I say mac users are idiots I don't mean all, though, IMO most are. IMO a vast amount of people are idiots period. so most people in most groups will be idiots by simple math. I'm not saying I know everything there is too know now. I just try to think things in a more reasonable way. Me calling someone a idiot is really my opinion.

thats true that it is possible for os x to get infected, but it is unix based, making it more secure. Im sure market share does have alot to do with it too, but think about it...most windows users, such as yourself, say that mac users are stupid. So if there people are stupid, why havent many viruses targeted mac users? Because their machines are safe. Apple is growing in market share anyways.

Hmm.. yes spam can be annoying but it can be controlled with the right protection. vista ultimate 64 is not good for the older games but crysis looks amazing on high definition on directX 10, you may have less problems with a MAC but gaming is all i do when im at home.

You also fail to realize that any OS can be infected. Windows has the most malware because it has the largest market share by far. That's like saying if car company A makes 10 cars and one has a problem, compared to a company B that makes 1,000,000 cars and 100,000 cars have a problem, then company A has better cars. Yes I know the ratio of will not be the same with malware on windows and macs, the concept is however still similar and still true.

You obviously didn't even read what I said. Only a idiot would actually been infected by malware in the first place. I don't have to pay for any protection in the first place. The only time I have ever been infected by malware is because of my lax of common sense. Sites and files I should of known were malware I still visited or downloaded and ran. Use some common sense and you will probably never be infected in the first place.

Yes, but wouldnt you rather have an os that simply doesnt get infected? Instead of have to pay money, or bloat your computer with protection software? And personally, I get xp free from my university, and use it for school related purposes (visual studio, word), and use os x in my leisure time. My mac has been compatible with everything I have thrown at it so far, so don't give me the compatability issue crap. If you really want to argue this, message me. Im not allowed enough characters lol.

Have you ever used a PC or have you used the MAC for so long that using a PC would actually be harder because you don't really know how to work it since it's nothing like the MAC, I had this problem when I switched from windows ME to XP it was different and I didn't like XP but I soon ajusted my self to XP and now I hate Vista instead but I'm slowly getting used to that on my friends computer?

Then we have the mac with windows thing. Mac's do have a limited selection of software. A Mac uses Mac OS. I have already beaten you in hardware. And in your words beaten you in software. So in other words for macs to have the same software selection as windows, is has to actually run windows itself. So let me get this, you have spend more money then I will on hardware. Then spend even more to get a copy of windows, and all the mac related compatibility issues, just to match a windows PC?

How am I'm putting money to protect it? Freeware will do the job. I'm not a idiot who goes on websites which are obviously questionable to begin with. People are only infected with malware and viruses because they are too stupid to avoid getting them. It makes no difference if the parts are from different manufacturers. Even your mac has parts from many different companies. And you risk failure of any equipment no matter what. You aren't even making sense now.

ok that is a fair deal...youre paying $1,037 to have a system in which you are constantly putting MORE money into to help protect it. Most freeware wont do the job, and even if you install protection, you arent completely safe. Take into account you have parts from different manufacturers, and risk hardware failure. You say that windows "destroys Macs" in software selection. I beg to differ because MACS CAN RUN WINDOWS...can you get that into your head? mac computer = windows + os x.

Now a case = $50. 400 PSU = $35. CD/DVD-RW drive = $30. And i'll use my current hard drive of 400 GB. Western Digital WD4000AAKS = $105 dollars. Now a copy of XP. $150 Monitor $150 Keyboard and mouse = $40. $1,037 And it can be built with cheaper and better parts today. Good luck with the price. You are a fanboi. Mac does nothing matter then a windows PC can do. Nothing. And windows completely destroys Macs in software selection, farther dominates macs in games.
