3 words. Daniel Day Lewis. He could do it, keep him backburner enough and it'd be perfect...I WANT HARLEY QUIN!!

I'm always amazed when ever Michael Phillips gives a good review for anything. I would describe Phillips as the "stereotypical critic". He seems to hate every other movie he reviews. But thank goodness that Phillips gave this a perfect score.

HarryPotter713::"heheh I agree... if Heath Ledger doesn't win this then I feel like I'll never be able to take the Academy seriously..." .... You take the Academy seriously?! HAHA!

This is the BEST movie I'v seen to be released so far this decade. It's better than all three "Lord of the Rings" movies (extended editions) combined! It NEEDS to have a best picture nomination. I mean it.
By: Nebel305. on 06 Oct 08, 16:49:28
chill out you thumbsdown victim, it got 4/4. highest rating. No need to get your nipples in a twist about it.
By: thecolorunknown. on 01 Oct 08, 22:34:10
It wouldn't have looked as good imo. They needed the punk-era looking joker to be in a more modern looking city or he would have looked kinda out of place.
By: mattjeff12. on 29 Sep 08, 23:23:03
Agreed. @Backstreetboy6 - Its normal for film production to start at dawn or even earlier. Heaths problems arose from getting too into his character. And he did do very very well, I could barely tell it was him watching the movie. =[ RIP Heath.

You do know 4 is the highest right? Just checking =]
By: PolishNomad95. on 28 Sep 08, 05:33:08
HOW DARE YOU GIVE ONLY 4 STARS, I would give 10 stars. Ledger had me so nervous that every sudden movement made me have niagra falls in my pants. And the overall atmousfer (I don't care how its spelled) also made me jitter. I think that there is no purpase in having sex anymore because this was way better, or maybe i need a new girlfriend. If this movie and Ledger don't Acadamy awards, good bye cruel world

Most movie critics, including the Chicago Tribune, use a four-point scale. So this is a 4/4 rating.

i know that it was in chicago but iam saying Nolan should have made Gotham look unique like in begins instead of copy-pasting chicago in the movie
By: backstreetboy6. on 17 Sep 08, 04:06:41
It's because THEY SHOT the movie in CHICAGO. Mostly. Some places were other areas, but mainly in Chicago. And I think I get why Heath Ledger was tired now... they filmed at the break of dawn, give or take... But, well, he still did REALLY well! Hehe! Yeah! Also, at the beginning.. I thought it WAS Chicago.. I haven't seen Batman Begins.. yet.

I'm sorry you felt that way in between the Joker scenes, because you absolutely missed out on half the movie.
By: coonana1. on 16 Sep 08, 00:49:47
i am not one of those batman fanboys but this really should get at the the least 4.5 stars which is a big difference on a 5-point scale.
