No they wouldn't of. Well, Tracie probably could've. Rosario isn't a good singer live, not to be mean or anything. Really, she has problems live, most of the time. It takes a hell of a lot more talent to do this live, where you can't screw up, and if you do, its over and you have to try to work around, where in movies, if you go off key or sing the wrong tune, its okay, just cut and take it from the top again.

i dont think shes a good singer. the only times she sounds ok is when they're both singing together and hes doing high notes, and she does the low ones. but when she sings solo, it sounds scratchy and like shes been smoking for ages. i go to adelphi university and we are the first place to do it since its been off broadway. Jonathan Larson went to Adelphi and in his will he said that when it goes off broadway Adelphi was the the first place to have rights to the play b4 anyone else. We have been doing it for about a month now and i don't kno how much longer we have it but i have seen it 3 times and i hope it never goes away. if u get a chance come see it the students from the school do it extremely well.

Are you kidding? Daphnie is HORRIBLE! Larson originally wanted Karmine Alers for the part, but she was unreachable at the time, so they gave it to her. And when Karmine DID grace the stage as Mimi, she kicked the shit out ot it. Her and Rene Elise Goldsberry.
