What Jack Schaap REALLY says about racism Posted by: ccoraxfan
Video duration: 170 seconds This is in response to a video which has been edited to make it appear that Jack Schaap (pastor of First Baptist Church, Hammond, Indiana) is a racist and preaches racism from his pulpit. It shows that when you want to determine what someone believes, you have to listen to the whole message in context! I'm no fan of Jack Schaap, but I still believe he deserves a fair hearing. A better organ (Part of Gigue Fugue) Posted by: ccoraxfan
Video duration: 98 seconds I got a new old organ! Might not be the greatest, but it's a dream compared to what I had been using, even though it's an ancient toaster (Baldwin 48c) that barely works. This is what it sounds like *after* I cleaned all 128 pedal contacts! (You don't want to know what it sounded like before!) the poor little crow was hungry and I could hear in its voice that it was getting frustrated with being repeatedly disappointed and not getting something to eat. nothing cute or funny about that!

The Corvid Ranch will ship, or you can drive yourself and pick up your bird. Contact them for details.

Check out the Corvid Ranch. They breed corvids for pets, and their most popular breed is the pied crow, the same as the ones you seen in the Windex commercials on TV. Just do a google search for them.

To see and hear a couple of baby ravens, just look to the right in the "Related videos" section for the video titled "Karen and her ravens" by sigatlas.

No need to do that, the difference is quite distinctive, and having been around both, I can assure you that this is not a raven. A raven weighs around 3 to 4 times more than a crow, and is comparable in size to a small-to-medium size chicken. Instead of the "crackle" sound you hear from this crow, a raven makes a croak.

I wonder if he might be a raven rather than a crow?

Are the parents still around? Is there any chance you can get the bird back into the nest, or is it too old for the nest? Have you done this before? Are there any bird rehabbers in your area that could take care of the bird, or at least give you advice? Raising a young bird is no easy job.

Put a bit of permethrin powder on the back of the neck and around the vent, where the bird is less likely to ingest it. Be careful with it, birds have sensitive lungs and it's a dry powder. You might have to reapply it after a few days because of newly hatched parasites, just keep an eye on it for a while. Most birds from the wild have these parasites, but usually only a couple applications of permethrin will fix it.

That sound, it's like a ghost from the past! Raptors may have gone extinct but their caws are still heard in their descendants.

yesterday i found a baby crow. he is a fledgling. i took him inside because he was being harassed by cats and kids. he doesnt really beg like that. is this a learned behavior when he realizes im his food source? im only keeping him until he can fly but he needs his food and i would like it if he was more eager. feeding is somewhat difficult. worms and chicken he likes. eggs he hates. also he has mites anyway to safely get rid of them?

Oh wow.. that's quite creative... NOW, how about I'll do that to you? I'll really enjoy it, and heck, not much feathers/hairs to remove (I hope... unless you are one hairy fat fuck) Heck, I would even fry you after that and eat you... CRØW

Here's another recipe. Pull off all feathers, carefully skin the crow, cut his flesh into little pieces and let it dry in the sun. It will turn out beautifully...crow jerky!
