I first saw Johnny Cougar (not Mellancamp then) on American Bandstand singing this and loved it (it has a good beat, it's easy to dance to, I give it an 8, ha!). This is the first time I've heard this after all of those years in between and I still love it! Thank you for uploading such a great memory and song!

It is track #4 on 'John Cougar' "Nothing Matters and What If It Did". Released 1980. To d/l a copy get the Limewire program from Limewire dot com. Then when you do a search put John Cougar in the artist line and This Time in the title line. I saw a copy there. Good luck :)

since dvds came out I am sure it is on one I think. I have had it yrs on vhs only . I do not know but, sure must be. Is off 3rd Nothing Matters & What If It Did but, it on vhs was called Greatest Hits many yrs back. who knows now I am sure same.

This time was the 3 album by the most perfect and only american that makes me feel ok to be one. I say hey his mama was even fun in it all. Make me feel on that was better but, I died to that one. I picked it fr the words and real meaning. I only say I saw him i 82. 84. 86. 88. 92 . ect even as Pearl DOggie after his ouch and after the stroke. He is not fake and the only usa rocker you can trust is real. Kid Inside he was so young few spoke up for him and all.

wow off nothing matters what if it did. Nice. I saw him in 82, 84, 1986 and 88 and in the 90's and 2000 but, i was born in 69 so of course I had to be 13 to go to my first concert grin. Hey way cool thanks a blast from the past. I loved him since 79. not rare on it though cuz it is out there in vids not online to take copyrights and from him though ;)
