Em primeiro lugar tocar sujo qualquer um toca, é só tocar com força e apoiado, além de muito rápido. Na minha opinião Yamandu como melodista deixa a desejar em relação ao que gosto de ouvir,e neste quesito(melodia), eu acho ele ruim, mas como acompanhante, e músico pra efeito de espetáculo, acho ele sensacioal e muito original, prefero ouvir outros violonistas como Marco pereira e Alessandro penezzi, somente não gosto da linguagem violonistica dele

well friends, first, dont be violent speaking. i am studying music at college ( guitar) and i think he is the biggest guitar player ever!! i dont think bream is even on his level. he is preforming tomorrow in Tel-aviv israel and im gonna be there!!! if you think that he plays noise you have no understanding in music and guitar. what he does on the guitar is something that no one else did before.

Your comments are bizarre. I'm 56 years old and most certainly DID see both Segovia and Bream perform live MORE THAN ONCE, in New York City, Buffalo, NY and Boston. Segovia influenced me to study the classical guitar in the 1960's. Mr. Costa, IN MY OPINION, is a genius of unique stature. I have a well-developed sense of musicality and many years of musical training. To call me an idiot and a liar because I don't share your tastes is just pathological. What you don't like, don't listen to.

Liar. Segovia died in the the late 80's and Bream stopped performing a while back. You know nothing about musicality. Those players that you have mentioned are pioneers as well as artists. This idiot Yamandu is nothing. He's playing noise. I swear there are so many idiots on YouTube. Stop lying and study music first before you say he's better than anyoone. He has no phrasing or a clear direction of the music. He just plays loud when he wants and plays softly when he wants. That's not music.

vi uma apresentação dele hoje aqui em limeira/sp apresentação exelente!! ele é totalmente carismatico e engraçado, todas as pausas das musicas ela fazia uma graça e todo mundo ria, isso vai contra algumas pessoas que falaram que ele é uma pessoa sem humildade. (essa é minha opinião, não conheço ele fora dos palcos) Exelente Yamandú!

I had the privilege of seeing Yamandu perform live and believe I witnessed the best guitar playing of my life. I've seen many of the greats perform live: Segovia, Bream, Paco de Lucia, John Williams and many others from all genres, but have never ever heard anyone with the technical skill and eclectic musicality of Yamandu Costa. What a genius. I'm awestruck.

I'm not comapring them. but the guy said Kottke is better only because he plays a 12 string guitar. I'd say 12 strings is easier than 7 strings. 12 string is the same as a 6 string, the only difference is that there are the doubled octave strings. but work the same as a 6 string. this guy is insane.
