its just a standard plug, the extra hugeness is for the included headphones, but it works with any headphone that works on an ipod (i know i didnt make this video and no i dont own this thing but i surf cnet alot :P tech geek)

I have the P2 myself and i LOVE it! But i think it all depends on what you want in an Mp3/ ipod or whatever. I personally love the P2. it has radio, bluetooth, great sound quality, the DNSe feature is really awesome since you can customize it, and the screen is actually really bright. Now the Ipod Touch is pretty cool but i really don't think that you need internet and games You are buying those things to listen to MUSIC not to play games and surf the internet but it all depends on what you want

iPod touch does not focus more on being a music player. The makers of it just added some stuff like internet and youtube for enjoyment and to attract consumers to buy them. Comparing it based on sound quality, P2 is better because Samsung made it(one of the best in producing music and video experience). Samsung is constantly updating the firmare of the product, unlike the iPod. I own a P2, that's why. But talking about the looks, iPod touch is better.

get a twist tie and strip off some of the paper or plastic a smal pin or somethhing small enough like a thin wire your gonna need it to get to the reset button located on the side nearest the usb cable plugin there should be a small hole with the word reset next to it. stick the pin or thin wire in the hole and use it to depress the reset button hold it down for a few seconds then remove it. it should reboot and say its rebuilding the tracklist or something. its happened to me before too.

the nice thing about the zen is if your media player is dead and you dont want to wait to put songs on the sd card you can take it out and put it in an sd card slot on your computer or anyones computer with an sd card slot and you can charge it with anything that has a usb port even a motorola dvr which i have done a few times. so even if your on the go you can still charge up as long as you can find a usb port somewhere

My iPod just broke last week, and after looking at a video confirming drag and drop for both Windows and Mac, this has me sold. My only gripe is the interface design(I'm an interface geek, hence the iPod). It looks like Sony was trying the "PSP" look, but stopped midway:( Oh, well, the good outweigh the bad, so I'll definetly pick it up once I have money for it.

Putting videos is a little complicated. I use PSP Video 9 (which you can download for free) to convert videos, and then I use Media Manager to transfer my converted videos to my Walkman. Sony does sell an AC power adaptor on Sonystyle, though you could search around Ebay or Amazon for some lower prices...

To anishrakvi123: I think it's more about the headphones... When I used the in-ear headphones that came with the player, it was able to drown out a lot of the outside noise. But when I've used regular headphones, the volume doesn't seem loud enough. It might be good to use either in-ear headphones or maybe closed headphones if you want to block outside noise. No, it doesn't have a custom wallpaper feature or games. As for the playlist, you can't make one using only the Walkman, but you can use Windows Media Player 11 to create one and put it on the player (you can also use a different transfer-capable software if you don't want to use WMP11, though the Walkman may not recognize the playlist depending on the software). I haven't tried making one yet on my Walkman since I shuffle my music most of the time.

i bought NW-A805 which is pretty much like the NW-A818 but you HAVE TO USE SONIC STAGE! i m in love with this player and was ever so satisfies with its features and its user friendliness until i plug that player into my computer.ARRRHHHh stupid sonic stage, NO DRAG AND DROP. putting the music itself was a pain in the ass. i was soo pissed off man when they release the NW-A818 after 2months. sony finally realised that making a player restrictive is not a good idea.

I have also bought an A818 2 months ago. However I kind of want this one now, because 8gb is a bit tight with video's etc. 16GB would be awesome, and the screen is larger, the battery works longer! this new sony player is prabaly just as big as my former mp3 player the insignia pilot which had a 2.4 inch screen only diffrence this one has much better sound quality by a long shot.
