if you can't change the past, would it be appropriate to call it "predestined"? Would we not say that the past is just "destined" without the pre? It was destined to happen, that's sort of the definition.

there is no time machine now and it will surtenly not exist in the future why do you ask well if there where a time machine in the future they wold have traveled back in time.. to our time and there is no one traveling back to our time because it never becomes possible sorry...but that is the borring truth.

the part at 5:40 is wrong. if someone went and told us what happened in the future, we wouldn't be able to change it. they're implying everyone would go out and riot, but if thats not what happened in the future, they wouldn't be able to go riot. personally, i'm a determinist, freewill just doesn't make sense to me.

That is true, it is fixed. But that does not constitute that time travel is impossible. Just listen to this video, no matter what you do the universe would prevent you from changing the past.

That isn't true. You COULD NOT kill anyone from the past based on simple laws of the universe. Say you went to drown Edgar Allan Poe. You would have a seizure beforehand, or something would go terribly wrong, because if you were to kill him his entire bloodline would fade and cease to exist, but then the question that emerges is where did this process start?

9:45 - End That's not true because the person clearly said that SUPPOSE that there is another universe. If the person were to hit the ball, and it hits another ball that was in another parallel universe, then that means that THAT universe has interfered with our universe. So if we were to go back in time, and I kill a few people. Then in the normal universe, at that time (say I went to 1770), then that person in 1770 would have died but by ANOTHER reason like drowning, sickness etc.

time travel would also constitute dimensional travel in my opinion, take some time out of your day to make an intelligent comment based on present day ideas of physics. check out the "M" theory, just because time travel doesnt seem possible in our dimension, doesn't mean its not in another dimension. our laws of physics may not apply in another universe.

traveling to the past is imposible. past is fixed...cant change it...even if you only travel to the past and then get back that second...even that changes it. and you cant go to the future becouse the future hasnt been made in advace.

I'd say the idea that when you time travel you go to an alternate universe where you can mess things up is probably right because it side-steps the whole paradox issue completely. Though if it is right,you can never change the past of this universe only the past of a similar one.
