They're always doing new stuff, just listen to the changes from Iron Maiden to Number of the Beast to Seventh Son to the X Factor to Brave New World to A Matter of Live and Death. All of them are way different. All the songs you metioned are all from the same period, exept Fear of the Dark which is the only decent song on the album. Their newest album is some of the best stuff they've ever done. And Run to the Hills is pretty far down on their list of best songs.

There best song? Depends what you like really. The trooper is pretty darn cool, great to listen to if it's on a playlist with run to the hills. Fear of the dark is pretty darn good too. Number of the beast is ok i suppose, but not as good as trooper and run to the hills. This is something new from metallica though, looks like there experimenting with a new sound to be honest.

YES!! it's true!! the voice of T.K. is not good at all!! I've seen stratovarius live many times too and never heard it sing like this. Last time here in Argentina they played United and it was awesome!! :s

Oh my god, his voice is terrible on this. I've seen Stratovarius live on several occasions and he was MUCH, MUCH better. The sound overall is terrible. Really doesn't do them justice at all.
