None were leased from Air France, all were from Virgin America and Air Canada. Skybus only owned 1 A319. There are currently 3 aircraft still at CMH. There were 7 this weekend, 2 left on sunday and 5 this morning, 2 more left between 4pm and 5pm and two are still at SX's ramp and 1 in their hanger on the south side. The aircraft that skybus did own is in Greensboro, NC. The newly leased Air Canada A319 is still being de-skybussed. I work in Airport Operations at CMH.

I think that American is still a great airline. Even though they bought out TWA, which was a big mistake, it was better than being bought out by US Air or Continental. When I went on American from LAX to IAD alone for the first time, the flight attendants were very nice and sympathetic of the 5 hour delay. They gave me free headphones and free 1st class meals, it doesn't get any better than that!

N828AW and N838AW are still painted in the maroon and orange heritage liveries, respectively. MX and fleet service uniforms are still AWA, but new US ones are being issued soon. What will I ever do with my unopened AWA uniforms?!?! (p.s. had to turn the sound off, can't stomach nickelback) :p

prettypredey: The reason united didn't buy more planes is because of the fuel crisis. they where sturggling for profits and the 737s are kinda fuel hogs so their replacing them with there A320 which require TED aircraft moved back into mainline service. United dosn't need as many mainline planes as it does now so they didn't order new ones.

i just flew ted to vegas from san fran and it was my first airbus flight. ted is such a very great airline, that in vegas i went to an airplane shop and bought a gemini jets 1/200 scale ted airways and i had the captain on my flight home sign the box. i also heard that ted is going out of business.

Due to the airline crisis caused by spiking fuel prices, on June 4th, 2008 United announced that the Ted brand and services would be discontinued with the Ted aircraft being fitted with United's First Class cabin and eventually being incorporated into United's regular fleet. The changes are expected to be completed by the end of 2009.
