How do we know wether he chose this planet to be the target of his miracles, why is that, just because the bible say so? There could be planets out there anywhere in the universe that has a greatness a thousand times more true greatness than our own planet. Everything in the universe is insignificant when compared to other stars and planets regardless of their size to each other. Empty black space has no limits, even the biggest stars are nothing but a spec of dust on the scale of space.

I've heard almost all scources say 65,000 66,000 67,000 and 68,000. They have a rough idea of the Milky way any where between 100 billion and a trillion, usually more towards the first. And I'm talking about full galaxies, those are just dwarf satellite galaxies, and I said ALMOST 3 million. And their is a rough estimate for the galaxies in the known universe, not the whole universe but the known universe. And I said 1.3 millions Earths fit inside/valume.

The Earth travels around the sun at about 22,000 miles per hour. 1.3 million Earths fit inside the sun. Check. They have no idea how many stars make up the Milky Way. The Andromeda galaxy is 2.5 million LY away but it's not the closest Galaxy. The nearest individual galaxy is Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy at 25,000 LY. We have no idea how many galaxies there are.

How are my nubers off. They may be slightly different but I have heard many statisics. Their are even scources that give higher numbers on some things. And I have heard of many scources saying it is 156 billions lightyears and I think it is just a samll fraction of it's size. I'm saying the universe is VERY big.

My motives? Scripture? Why did you find me quoting scripture before? Actually I believe the universe to be much much larger than we think. But as for what we see, It may or may not be that big. All the matter we see can be just some of the matter in the entire universe and clumpped enough together, in relation to all the matterin the universe, to create a gravity well or bowl that light has to travel along but can be cut across. In other words, the light is bent along gravitational lines.

Now we are talking about percentage of sky? Come on. The fact is that when light passes close to a gravity source, it's bent. Period. And it could be that light that has traveled billions of light years has past near many such gravity sources. The origin of that object could be in a very different location and we could be seeing it and several different views at various times of development just like putting a candle in front of several mirrors and seeing the same light source many times.

The use of gravitational lensing is a standard practice in astronomy. This is the way we can see objects that are beyond what we see directly. Black holes and neutron stars bend light and we know that they are prevalentthroughout the universe with supermassive black hole to be the driving force in the center of every large galaxy. With the ideas of Billions of galaxies in the universe there must be Billions of Black holes that can each bend light into a pretzel. Doesn't sound too rare to me.

I agree space is a very large place. But we can only measure the distance by what we see. If what we are seeing is distorted by it's light being bent, twisted, and slowed then our measurement will not be correct. look, i do not mean to be a dick. But i have to be so i can make it clear that you can not state hypothesis as they were a theory. Neither one of us stated we were talking about major or dwarf galaxies, so that is where that confusion came from. But remember your hypothesis is known, but to state it has meaning space is small, even though we measure distances of 13.5billion light years which bent light does not explain.

Sorry, but The Magellanic Clouds are individual galaxies and are the closest to The Milky Way. Bended light will have a dopler effect because the light is bended from the direct source. My point is that source can be from anywhere, even right next to you and bent around to come back in your direction. Don't be mad. Just say I'm right and be done with it. You know it's true.

Omfg sorry correction, the minimum would still be 13.5billion light years, if we obersve our galaxy 13.5billion light years away, it means on object at the distance bent it. Remember distance of objects is measured by paralax and trignanometry.

Nice one! That little "gorilla-walker" thing (for lack of a better name) has some potential. I'd suggest dropping the population size down to about 20 or so to let it refine quickly (email me and I can explain how to go about that). Whether you do that or not, would you mind sending me the evolution settings and the latest .creature file from that run? I might try refining it myself for the upcoming conference video I'm going to make (if you don't mind, of course). Also, the music is awesome!

I am originally from Damascus, Syria. It's like the middle of the middle east. The genetic pool there is pretty much mixed up. Invasions, migrations, and religion all helped to compose the nations there. It's so mixed up that u can find all colors in the same family. I have light color skin with dark hair, my brother is brownish, and my sister is almost fair to blondish. And i assure u we all have the same parents. Our parents r even cousins so there is no direct mix in there. Very interesting.
