A new born colt came into the world at 4.30am this morning. He's my neighbours first foal for the season. Little fella is a race horse! Today he's just been sleeping and drinking, probably cause he knew I wanted to film him! hehehehe! Hopefully tomorrow he will feel alive! Might have to make another video! Shame, shame!

Thanks Karin! I think Tibby described him the best ADHD! We call him Toady Pie but sometimes his pesting is a pain in the butt. The other day he pulled a drainage pipe out of the ground (which only took two days work) shaking & biting it like killing a snake! I saw him from across the paddock and yelled out! Thanks for your kind words! :D Oliver has only started to jump a few poles and nothing too high, he's just turned 4. He seems to really love it so I've bought some jump rails and plastic cups and now have to make some wings. :D Kiri and him have a dressage comp on this weekend. Nice! they are so cute. do they jump? i just got a start on dressage but doubt im very good! my horse doesnt help much though, he gets way to excited. a reason why a reqular snaffle on him is never good... lol. shes really amazing, you'll have fun watching her grow as a rider

isnt she a beginner rider? she does REALLY well for a beginner...shes doing much better than i did when i first started riding. it took me like over a year to be able to sit to the canter properly :S:S

waw waw waw hes so good i wish i could ride lewi like that hes just getting worse i am puting him in a hanging cheep revolver in the morning to see it that helps but i only have the beach to try it and if the brakes fail well il be in big poo poo shes looking so much better and he legs are staying so still for there age there amazing its a shame he cant grow with her so she can ride him in shows when she my age love you both gabe... when;s your riding video comimg????

Thanks for your comment, yes Kiri's feet need attention, it's on the list of many. She's been riding for nearly 10 months and after the broken arm she lost a lot of confidence. It's just coming back in the last couple of months. We wanted to put toe clips on but decided it was best not to go that way. Safety stirrups can also be a problem so with lessons, hopefully things will get better.:D

Yes they can kill, they have large claws on their legs. They sit back on their tails and kick which can disembowel their victim. Have a look in my favourites of the two Kangaroos fighting and this will give you an idea of how they fight. Mostly only large males is all you worry about in breeding season.

Same down here. Were waiting for episodes of family guy and american dad. Hehehhee! Did you like that lift off? It was the only fall I ever had on Buzzy on the cross country and there had to be a photographer!!!???? Back then the odds were very low! You'd be lucky if a profesional photographer would even show up at an event, and luckier if you actually got some photos taken. In those days the ordinary camera didn't have shutter speed to film action. I have so many photos of blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! My Dad didn't take good photos!

Golden Duke was seven! I couldn't believe it when Dad bought him for me, he was so beautiful and golden with a very long white mane! My cousin was green! I still remember what Dad paid for him, he was $475.00 (I kept his advertisement for years in my treasure box) I could still have it you know. Wow if they were only that price these days! hahahha!

Which one? The photos taken at the Ag Show? They were big for Duke (he was 14.2hh), they got bigger the next round over 4'9", I still remember walking the course and the rails came up to my chin (I hadn't jumped that high before). I won a trophy, so I was stoked! Duke was really good at jumping, he won heaps of trophies over the years, I owned him for 18years and 7 months till he died from cancer. I loved that horse and it took me years to get over him!

Toby is a big blob at the moment, he's been on cortizone, for his skin. He's looking good but nearly 60 kgs and knocked me flying the other day. He's a chubby bubba! The vet is very happy with the way he's looking now, but wants him to now loose weight. Six months ago he weighed 39 kgs and looked terrible, I was so imbarrased to own him, I love my animals always looking their best, I spent nearly $1,000 on medication and it was $12 cortizone and hydro-baths that fixed him.
