Well wrestling in general is not as big as it was. MMA in Japan has had a major downfall since PRIDE has folded due to the fact that the Japanese fighters are not in the main events/not in the big roles which makes the Japanese fans not care at all. The wrestling is still good in Japan but there are too many promotions and its too hard to keep up with for most of the Japanese. Attendance in NOAH i know has been abismal same with CMLL

i think it starts with reactions to the fans from walking down to the ring to getting in their face during matches. mic skills help but they are not the main thing look at sycho sid he sucked on the mic but he was great with the crowd. but you need a combination of either great wrestling skills mic skills or fan interaction. not many wrestlers have all three but a combination of any of the 3 they will make it

Excellent rant, when those tards that talk about WWE's pay-per-views being good as usual, that means they are not gonna get any better than what you see. This game is a huge dissapointment to what I thought it was going to be like. This game needs more matches and way more wrestlers and features, like more weapons and more, I mean way FUCKING MORE MOVES!! I don't get the create wrestlers besides Suicide? They should put KAZ, PETEY WILLIAMS, LANCE ROCK,BG JAMES, KIP JAMES, JIMMY RAVE, MATT MORGAN, CURRYMAN INSTEAD OF THE CREATE WRESTLERS. Actually dude, there are no other gimmick matches on the other systems. Only Ultimate X. The game has no good reviews, and though I haven't played it yet, I don't really care to. It's not just your PS2

Well, they'll probably do all that next year, they did say all along their main focus was on gameplay for the first game, it's understandable why they left stuff out, having to create a brand new game from the ground up and all, hopefully they'll start adding stuff like different matches and weapons like tables and ladders on the next game. I'm just happy to have something to play wrestling wise that isn't WWE. =D btw I have 360 but I agree PS2 should get the same effort as the other versions.

And BTW Midway did have to build a brand new game and game engine from absolutley nothing so that's probably why it took them 2 years, smackdown recycles the same old shit time and time again. The nitpicking people use for why this is a bad game is hilarious.

There is no blood,Monsters ball,six sides of steel or full metal mayhem in the PS3/360 versions and the experience may be better than the PS2 but its still not great? I'm a PS2 owner and I'm happy to say that I had no intention on buying the TNA game PERIOD! Because I'm just an SvR fan all the way but I have played TNA and it isn't that good it was mostly hype
