Hi Chris! Well, for a while SARA did Field Day at the Wilkinson Elementary School but it is all gated and locked now and we couldn't get in there. This was held at the Shrine of the Master church on Tuttle. Wow, I bet doing FD in a burn tower was intense! Nice to see footage from back home. Where was this held? I used to do Field day with SARA at the Fire Dept. training facility off Beneva and Fruitville. After 24 hours calling W4IE 2A SFL in the burn tower I'd smell like a well used ashtray for a couple of days. I had a blast though! Well, you should pick up a manual from the ARRL and study and get your Technician license for starters...it is a wonderful hobby. I know for a fact that there are TONS of hams in Georgia! I've listened to the 2M band while traveling through and always hear activity.
