my comments are backwards- this one is first. i used to have this same thing go on. once my dom male cat got into a mood and fought w/raccoon. he lost. now he tolerates them.I live in the northwest and it makes me happy to see all the furry creatures. The squirrels eventually got tame enough to eat peanuts right outta my hand!I've always left food out for everyone in the neighborhood but not every single day cuz then they'd depend too much on me and they need to keep their skills.Not safe.

Not safe for them I mean, like domesticated animals stop fending for themselves- that's sad. I live in the northwest and esp in the winter they'd come around alot. It was fun to follow their little footprints in the snow - see that they covered alot of ground in the neighborhood every night looking for food. I dont understand ppl who build a home in the woods and freak out when animals show up. Duh-- you moved into their feeding area!! Ooo ppl are dumb and selfish sometimes.

I love the video! I feed all animals by my house but I have never had skunks as dinner guests! I am surprised the racoon did not mind sharing! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT! Thank you so much God bless you for feeding them! Muah!!!!!

That's interesting. I think skunks are quite evil. Usually, they fight with the other animals at a shared backyard dinner party, and try to scare them away, while the raccoons are just quiet and share their food. That's not very nice of the skunks, especially since they have one of the most effective weapons in nature, and the other animals can't really do anything to the skunks. :( This video, however, was an exception. I'm happy the skunks behaved and didn't fight the raccoon.

After the skunks accept you, then you're another skunk to them. They wont spray you! One lived under the old garage apartment I stayed in after my dad had a stroke. She took right up with my pit pull, who thought that he was the guardian of everything smaller than he was! She had little ones, and they took up with Brutus the pit bull! After she kicked them out the nest. They followed that bull dog every where he went! Funniest thing you ever saw!
