Hi again. Yeah, i agree that pain depends on fang size. But venom is much stronger than a bees, especially Haplopelma spiders. Im not sayin that is VERY poisonous, but it is. Again, it depends how it is fed, temperatures, and stuff... And again, if youve got an some kind of alergy, you could even die from a bite There are loads of people who says it is poisonous, and plenty who think its not. Btw, one man had serious health problems after B. smithi bite, nearly died,but fortunately still alive

Hi, Oh yes, I belive you that if you get bitten that it hurts very much. But thats not the venom,... thats cause they have big theets! The venom is like the venom of a bee!

It is beautiful :) I have a lividum, he is (:/) L12, just molted now. Pretty fast and agressive. But if handled properly it would not bite. Well, it is pretty venomous, dont say its like a bees venom. It will hurt as hell:) So far so good, i havent been bitten yet:)))

Wow, riesen becken. Wär mir zu Groß muss ich ehrlich sagen, aber egal. Ich habe auch Jungtiere von dieser Spinne mit einer KL von rund 3cm und die haben rund 12cm Bodengrund und von denen graben 2 von insgesamt 6! Und das selbe war mit meiner Lady die in dieses Terri kam, die hat auch nie gegraben. Also, eine jede Spinne ist vom verhalten her unterschiedlich! Sie muss nicht immer so sein wie es in einem Buch steht !

Aso, hab garnicht geschaut aus welchem Land du kommst :D Nichts für ungut, will nicht den Besserwisser oder so spielen, aber ich hab nen 80x40x50cm Becken für meine Lasidora die eine KL von 8cm hat und bei mir steigt der Bodengrund auf fast 30cm an und die gräbt was das Zeug hält! Die Tiere graben dann erst, wenn man ihnen auch die Gelegenheit dazu gibt. Also nichts für ungut gel ;)

Du kannst auch Deutsch schreiben :) Meine Lasiodora gräbt überhaupt net. Und sie hat rund 6 cm so und hinten bei der Höhle ist der Bodengrund viel höher und sie kann in der Höhle ruhig ausbauen. Aber das macht sie sowieso nicht :)

that soil you are using is that coco bark? i used to use that for all my tarantulas but i only use that for my high humidity loving goliath now as it is good for humidity, i just use plain vermiculite for my mexican redknee and chile rose as they like dry environments

Dude, as you can see are my scorpions I have fucking dangerous for people and so I would be a fucking dumbass if I handle some of them. The´only scorpion I have ever handle was Hadogenes paucidens. Only one time. Scorpions are not pets to be adapted for handling. I only work with a 30 cm long tweezer. I handle my Tarantulas and my Snakes, but I NEVER HANDLE one of these kinds of Scorpions, especially species of Androctonus, Buthus, Leiurus, Centruroides, Hottentotta, Tityus, Mesobuthus,... !!!

Feeding a live animal to any other animal is not only cruel, But [in the case with snakes and other reptiles] it can also be very dangerous for the snake! Rats can do a hell of alot of damage. Now i know i will get flames saying "thats what they do in the wild" etc. In the wild the snake has to hunt the animal down. The animal is not trapped in a tank with no escape. Youre best feeding prekilled/frozen animals. Nice for the feeder animal and safer for youre snakes

Yes, I did buy a grammostola rosea for my first. After, I got a Pterinochilus murinus, an Aphonopelma seemanni and a Nhandu chromatus. As a freebie, Tarantula Canada gave me a Catumiri sp and a Psalmopoeus cambridgei. They're all babies and I lost 3 of them. The P. cambridgei, the N.choratus and the Catumiri sp. I think they were able to get out threw holes I had made in their temporary deli cup!! :( Jojos from Québec, Canada :)
